The Department of Computing Security provides an environment where students can develop an in-depth knowledge of computer security. In addition they receive a strong foundation in the supporting disciplines of programming, multimedia, and database systems.
After building core competencies, students design their area of specialization by selecting five courses from over a dozen advance study courses offered in the areas of computing security.
As new technologies emerge our faculty will be here delivering a leading edge, quality education using best practices in higher education. Active learning, team projects, research, and real world application -- what we teach, and how we teach it contribute to the making of technically proficient and personable professionals.
